Celebrating Diversity #3Hello, everyone!
When we don't see enough of a particular art form, it is difficult for us to understand or appreciate it. This project aims to bring you features that you might not have seen otherwise from a variety of galleries around dA. For example, I tend to live and breathe photomanipulations and (to a lesser extent) digital art, and I really enjoyed taking a moment to browse the non-photomanipulation galleries for treasures. I found many, and I hope you will enjoy the features I have chosen.

Make a Difference aims to do exactly that. This series of articles will hopefully make a difference to you as well as the artists featured weekly. Just by giving one minute of your time to write constructive comments, favourites and even watches will make a difference to these artists.
:icona2star:'s beautiful photography is stunning in its clarity. The concepts are captured in a very interesting way, and the vivacity and vibrancy are both so apparent in many of the photos featured in the gallery. Definitely well worth a gander there!

Celebrating Diversity #1Welcome to this new series of Art Features! Even tho most of you are aware of the many many galleries and categories here on dA, I think most of us move in a sort of "comfort zone" between Galleries, Channels or Groups that provide us with a constant flow of new art. And sometimes we forget all the other great artforms, styles and media that are out of our "comfort zone". And today I want to step out of that warm and cuddly place and feature some awesome works from places on dA I don't usually visit!
Since this is the first entry, I thought I should explain it a bit more, so that is why there is more text in this article

Little Soldier BoyThe curtains peel back slowly and Zuko can feel the soft padding of his daughter's hands crawling up his chest. He pretends not to notice but a powerful tug to his hair sends him lurching and Honoura reeling with laughter.
"Why do you always feel the need to pull daddy's hair in the morning?" He grabs her little hands and pulls her under the satin covers. She laughs as his breath tickles her face.
"You have such pretty hair, papa." Even though she proclaims this, her sticky hands are always threading through it trying to braid it, or just stroking it. He swears he is going to go bald one of these days. He rises slowly from his bed, bones Little Soldier Boy by ~FinalxFantasyxFreak

It had been 5 years since they meet. 5 years since the feelings had grown. 5 years of being split apart by different continents. 5 years of misery and happiness. 5 years of wanting to be there beside you. 5 years of having to wait. 5 years coming to a end.

It had been nearly a week since the status proclaimed that he was offline. The heart proclaiming to beat faster because of the shear emotions towards him. Butterflies know claiming the stomach as their home. Air escaped the lungs as the fingers arched in a way of wanting to type; no typing happened though.
